Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)

AdBlue is injected into the vehicle’s exhaust system, and through a chemical reaction within the SCR catalyst, nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gases are converted into nitrogen and water vapor, both of which are harmless substances.

AdBlue

AdBlue is a clear, colorless, and non-hazardous solution used to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in the exhaust gases of vehicles equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. AdBlue is a solution of urea (32.5%) and deionized water (67.5%), specifically designed to enhance engine performance without affecting the vehicle’s overall performance. It is primarily used in trucks, buses, commercial vehicles, and some passenger cars that are equipped with SCR technology to meet Euro 6 emission standards.
